Orlando-area forecast: Dry air leads to beautiful weekend weather

Lots of sun and clear skies make for great weekend

ORLANDO, Fla. – On Saturday, Orlando reached a high of 81 degrees and Melbourne hit 76 degrees, while Daytona Beach made it to 73 degrees.

More of the same is expected Sunday, with seasonably cool temperatures overnight.

Clear skies Saturday night will allow the warmth of the day to escape into space, and there will be a touch of chill in the air. Lows Saturday night will range from 49 degrees in Ocala to 56 degrees in Orlando and Palm Bay.

It will be another sunny day Sunday, with temps approaching 80 degrees.

The next hint of rain comes Tuesday and Wednesday -- not storms, but just scattered showers.
