Pro Golfer Makes Plea In Hawk Killing
Tripp Isenhour Gets Probation, Fine, Community Service

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A professional golfer who killed a protected hawk with a golf ball on an Orlando course pleaded no contest on Friday.Tripp Isenhour was accused of hitting a golf ball at the hawk because the bird's loud chirping interrupted the filming of an instructional video at the Grand Cypress Golf Club.A judge sentenced Isenhour to one year of probation. He must also pay a $500 fine plus court costs and serve 100 hours of community service.
Isenhour will serve 40 hours of community service and make a donation to a wildlife preserve in Jupiter in lieu of the other 60 hours.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
