A professional golfer who killed a protected hawk with a golf ball on an Orlando course pleaded no contest on Friday.

Tripp Isenhour was accused of hitting a golf ball at the hawk because the bird's loud chirping interrupted the filming of an instructional video at the Grand Cypress Golf Club.

A judge sentenced Isenhour to one year of probation. He must also pay a $500 fine plus court costs and serve 100 hours of community service.

Isenhour will serve 40 hours of community service and make a donation to a wildlife preserve in Jupiter in lieu of the other 60 hours.
