A 4-year-old girl was critically injured after she apparently tried to fly after watching "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" movie, according to a Local 6 News report.
Authorities in Shelby, N.C., said that the girl watched the movie and then crawled onto a kitchen counter, straddled a broom and then jumped off.
The injured girl was at a neighbor's house when she tried to fly away on the broom.Her mother reportedly left her in the care of a 14-year-old boy for less than an hour while she went out for food, Local 6 News reported.The victim was listed in critical condition this weekend, according to the report.Watch Local 6 News for the latest on this story.
