The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Dependable searched Sunday night and remained at the scene Monday morning. The cutter was joined by Air Station Clearwater HC-130 Hercules aircrew for a first-light search Monday morning, according to the Coast Guard.

Shortly before noon, the Coast Guard announced the HC-130 Hercules aircrew remained at the scene and the cutter William Flores was en route to assist in the search.

Crew members of the Day Boat Too fishing vessel alerted the Coast Guard to the 30-year-old man’s disappearance about 2:57 a.m. Sunday.
