Rifle Stolen From Orlando Police Car

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A rifle was stolen from an Orlando police car and the thief is on the run. Police said someone broke into the car parked in a subdivision located off North Lane near Pine Hills Road Sunday night and took an AR-15 rifle. The rifle was in a locked mounted rack and it was the only item Taken from the vehicle.
Authorities are searching the car for evidence. Anyone with information concerning the incident is urged to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS. Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
