Officials said someone shot an arrow through the bird near Nova Road and Sixth Street.

The Florida Limpkin continues to walk around area neighborhoods but many wonder how much longer it can last with the arrow in its body, Local 6 News reported.

Several residents have tried to capture the bird and take it to a veterinarian.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Holly Hill police.
