A 34-year-old California man is accused of stealing a homeowner's front lawn, including bushes and sprinklers, and using the stolen property to landscape his property, according to a report.

A homeowner in Adelanto called police to report that the yard in the front of his home had vanished overnight.Witnesses told the homeowner that they saw a man stealing the victim's sod, sprinklers and other plants and hauling it to a nearby residence.Officers responded and arrested David Roger Bowers.Bowers faces grand theft and possession of stolen property charges.The landscaping was returned to the victim.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
