Mom Of 3 Charged In Boy Sex Case

    POSTED: 10:36 am EST March 30, 2006
    UPDATED: 5:16 pm EST March 30, 2006

A 34-year-old woman in Cocoa, Fla., was charged with repeatedly having sex with a 14-year-old boy, Local 6 News has learned.

Kimberly Page was arrested at her Hightower Court home on Wednesday and charged with 12 counts of sexual battery in connection with the case, Local 6 News partner Florida Today reported.

"She was a mother, married with three kids," said Barbara Matthews, spokeswoman for the Cocoa Police Department. "One of her children was a few years younger than the victim. They all apparently would hang out in the neighborhood together."

Detectives said Page developed a sexual relationship with the boy sometime in December 2005 until February.

Page would show up at the boy's home and help him sneak out of the residence to have sex with her, police said.

The boy, described by Matthews as a "good kid," ended up telling someone else about the illicit relationship, Florida Today reported.

"I think he was looking for help," Matthews said. "He was overwhelmed. We also got her on a phone call with him. She told him she was going to leave her husband for him and that she wanted to continue having sex."

Police said Page declined to talk with detectives.

Page is being held on $35,000 bond at the Brevard County Jail in Sharpes.
