Authorities in Central Florida busted a scam of stolen theme park tickets being resold to unsuspecting customers for a large profit, according to Local 6 News.

Investigators arrested Franklin Fox and William Landis Monday for the illegal resale of multiday theme park passes. It is believed that Fox and Landis sold the illegal attraction tickets at tourist ticket booths around Orange County.

During the three-month investigation, more than 900 stolen tickets were allegedly purchased by the supects for $37,930, according to a police statement. The actual retail value was about $200,000.

After officials with the Walt Disney Liaison Unit arrested the men, investigators found a safe in Fox's office that contained about $250,000 worth of Disney, Sea World and Universal theme park tickets.

Police said Fox does not have a contract with any of the three theme parks to purchase tickets at a reduced price.
