The Orange County Health Department is investigating a mysterious illness that has sickened dozens of residents at an area nursing home.

Local 6 News reported that about 50 residents and staff at the Conway Lakes nursing home became sick in recent days.

Most of the sick residents are complaining of vomiting, nausea and diarrhea.

Officials have restricted visitors to the home and staff members who aren't sick yet are taking extra precautions, according to the report.

Officials said lab tests should be back in a few days.
