A fire inspector in Osceola County, Fla., was arrested Thursday on charges of child pornography, according to authorities.
Giovanni Felipe, 50, (pictured, left) who is also known as "Dr. Demento," "Detroit" and "Giolatino" online, was reportedly arrested in Kissimmee, Fla., Thursday.About 35 images of children were allegedly found on his home computer in Miami in March 2002. A grand jury in South Florida charged Felipe with child pornography after the images were discovered.
Felipe had retired from his Miami firefighter position and was hired by Osceola County Dec. 15 to inspect buildings.The 50-year-old lost his job in Osceola Thursday.Felipe remained held without bail in the Seminole County Jail until a bail hearing Friday, according to a report.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
