COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A Columbus-area woman was attacked Thursday night by a nude stranger armed with a camera in what appeared to be the latest strike by the naked photographer, according to a report.

The attack occurred in the city's Northwest Side. A man exposed himself to a woman while also taking a picture of the incident, authorities said.
Police said they have investigated more than 30 such attacks in less than a year a half.
A woman told police she was coming out of a door in the 500 block of Stinchcomb Drive when the man jumped out from behind a bush. Police said he exposed himself to her, made physical contact with her and then took a picture of her reaction.
He then fled into the building and made his getaway, police said.
The attack happened at about 5 p.m., police said.
Until recently, the attacks consisted of the man taking a picture of the woman's reaction before leaving the scene, WEWS-TV reported. But police said the last few attacks have involved physical contact between the photographer and the victim.
Investigators said it is a sign that the man is becoming more aggressive and violent in his attacks.
The woman involved in Thursday's attack drove to a friend's home and called 911, police said.
