An unusual auction on eBay is offering a "ghost trapped in a jar" to the highest bidder.

The seller of the item claims that two strange jars were found while metal detecting in an abandoned cemetery in the 1980s.

However, the seller wrote that one of the jars was dropped releasing a black mist. The "black thing" that escaped the broken jar has attacked the seller several times, according to the item's description.

The seller wrote that the jars need to be passed on and are not fakes.

"I will not be held responsible for anything that happens once the transaction is complete," according to the item's description.

The seller also added that "all sales are final."
