Hundreds competed in a beauty pageant in Del Mar, Calif., but most of the contestants were real dogs, according to a Local 6 News report.

Ugly Dog Show Wows Crowds

The eighth annual Ugly Dog Show event featured many of best looking dogs, some even wearing different uniforms.

One by one, the dogs strutted their stuff, to compete for the titles of "Cutest Puppy", "Most Beautiful", and "Best Mutt".

However, a crowd favorite was Haus (pictured, left), who was featured in the "Ugliest Dog" contest.

"Everybody tells me you got to him into some type of contest, he's hysterical," Haus' owner Leanne Fournier said. "I'm so used to it, I just look at him all the time."

Luckily for Haus, ugly was "in" at this contest.
