Gunman Steals Oxycodone From Pharmacy

DeBARY, Fla. -- A man flashed a gun while approaching a DeBary Walgreens pharmacy counter on Sunday before stealing bottles of Oxycodone, sheriff's deputies said.According to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, the gunman entered the Walgreens located at 15 N. Charles R. Beall Blvd. in DeBary at about 11:36 a.m. and demanded the drug.The assailant, who concealed the gun under his shirt, was given a couple of pill bottles before he fled on foot northbound from the store, deputies said.
The gunman was described as a dark-skinned white male in his 20s, between 6 foot and 6 foot 4 inches tall with a thin build. His hair was black and spiked, and he was last seen wearing dark sunglasses, a white shirt with black stripes on the shoulders, black pants and black shoes that were possibly hiking boots.Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida 888-277-TIPS.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
