Fla. Mall Killer Possibly Caught On Tape

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- A mystery man who prompted police warnings at many Florida shopping centers after some mall slayings may have been captured on surveillance video.

Surveillance video released Thursday from the Adventura Mall in North Miami Beach showed a man matching the description of the Town Center Mall suspect who killed a mother and daughter last year.Nancy Bochicchio and her 7-year-old daughter, Joey, were abducted from the Town Center mall in Boca Raton on Dec. 12. Both were later discovered bound and shot to death in their car in the mall parking lot.Detectives were looking into links between the Bochicchio case and several others, including the slaying of a 52-year-old woman abducted and shot to death after shopping at the same mall one year ago.
The cases were profiled in January on the television show "America's Most Wanted."The warnings to shopping centers were issued in March.A task force was formed to catch the killer and the city was offering a $350,000 reward.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
