13 Shots Fired Into Central Florida Home

ROCKLEDGE, Fla. -- A man who fired 13 shots into an occupied Rockledge home Wednesday morning is being sought by police.Rockledge police and Brevard County sheriff's deputies are searching for the gunman, who fired shots into the home, located at 1003 Howard St. in Rockledge, at about 10:30 a.m.According to police, a man riding in a black Monte Carlo with a temporary tag was dropped off at the southwest end of Howard Street and walked to the home and opened fire, striking the house, two vehicles in the driveway and a vacant home to the north.
No one was struck by the bullets, Rockledge police said.The shooter was described as a black man about 6 feet 1 inch tall with medium to dark skin. He was wearing a white shirt and stonewashed blue shorts. The driver of the Monte Carlo was described as a black man with a heavy build and dreadlocks.Police said the assailants are amed and dangerous.Anyone with information is urged to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
