MICCO, Fla. -- A Brevard County woman was attacked by a dog near her home on Tuesday, and authorities are searching for the animal, deputies said.The attack happened at about 9:22 a.m. near a home at 9335 Fleming Grant Road in Micco.The unidentified woman was taken to Sebastian River Medical Center after being bitten on the arm, officials told Local 6 News partner Florida Today.
The woman's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, officials said.It was not immediately known what type of dog bit the woman or whether it was a pet from a nearby home.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
