PALM BAY, Fla. -- Three burglars who police said were caught on video by a Palm Bay homeowner's security surveillance system were arrested Thursday night following numerous tips from callers. Jesse Wasden, 20, and William Wayne Hank, 19, were arrested and booked into the Brevard County Detention Center on charges of burglary and grand theft. Isaiah Rene Jaime, 22, will be charged through the State Attorney's Office, Palm Bay police said. The homeowner on Wednesday was alerted on his work computer by his security system that motion was detected inside his house on Cuxhaven Street NW. The homeowner sent his wife to check on the home, and she found that items were stolen from the residence.
The homeowner then checked his security video, which showed three individuals rummaging through his property, stealing jewelry, electronic equipment and prescription medications. The suspects placed the stolen goods in a pillowcase they also stole from the home, police said. The security video was released to media organizations, which led to numerous tips to Crimeline and the Palm Bay Police Department. Detectives said they followed up on initial leads that identified Wasden as a potential suspect. Further investigation led to the identities of Hank and Jaime as the other two suspects, Palm Bay police said. Some of the stolen property, including a PlayStation, was recovered.
