Police: Victim Shot By Someone He Knew

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A man was shot in the buttocks and head during a confrontation in Orlando on Sunday, according to police.
The shooting happened near the intersection of Westmoreland and South Street.
Orlando police said the victim, who has not been identified, was approached by two individuals whom he knew.
The assailants got out of a car and the victim was shot in the buttocks, police said. The injured man attempted to run away but fell and was shot in the back of the head, according to police.
The victim suffered a skull fracture, and police said the bullet may have exited his mouth.
The man was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition, according to officials.
