Milwaukee, WI -- (Sports Network) - Jianlian Yi scored a career-high 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Milwaukee Bucks over the Charlotte Bobcats, 103-99, at the Bradley Center.
Michael Redd added 27 points and Maurice Williams scored 22 points and dished out nine assists for the Bucks, who ended a two-game slide. The rookie Yi recorded his first career double-double and hit a blistering 14-of-17 shots, including his first 12 attempts, as Milwaukee took advantage of the road-weary Bobcats.
"I felt more smooth and there was a lot of opportunities to shoot," Yi said. "Lately I've found that my offensive ability and the shots that I make are getting more and more each game."
The Bobcats arrived at the Bradley Center just one hour prior to tip-off as the club was detoured a number of times en route from Charlotte because of inclement weather.
Jason Richardson scored 30 points and Raymond Felton had 17 points and nine assists for the Bobcats, who had their first winning streak in over a month halted at two games. Emeka Okafor had 17 points and eight boards and Gerald Wallace recorded 15 points with seven assists for Charlotte, which has dropped nine straight on the road.
Nazr Mohammed had 14 points and 11 boards, rounding out the double-digit scorers for the Bobcats, who got only six points from their reserves.
"Fatigue was definitely a factor," said Charlotte head coach Sam Vincent. "I thought that with everything that went on travel wise to get here that our guys fought hard and stayed with it."
The Bucks took advantage of the tired Bobcats and built a lead in the first quarter. Milwaukee scored 11 of the first 15 points of the game and extended to a 14-6 lead when Redd drained a three-pointer at 3:47 of the first.
Charlotte later drew within 27-23 when Richardson hit a three-pointer with 2:45 left, but the Bucks ended the stanza by scoring eight of 10 points to take a 35-26 lead into the second.
Milwaukee kept the Bobcats at bay throughout the second, again scoring eight of the final 10 points of the frame to extend to a 58-47 lead at the break.
The Bucks used a 9-0 run in the third to take a 22-point lead. Yi ended the surge with a dunk at the 2:56 mark, giving Milwaukee an 85-63 cushion.
Charlotte shook the jet lag and came to life by scoring the final eight points of the quarter to go into the fourth down 85-71.
Then, a 13-3 run in the final quarter drew the Bobcats within eight points. Felton started the run and also ended it with a jumper, drawing Charlotte within 97-89 with 4:42 left.
Charlotte, though, couldn't get any closer than eight points until the final seconds when a couple of three-pointers made it closer than it really was.

The game was delayed 15 minutes at the start because of Charlotte's late arrival...Andrew Bogut had 14 points and 10 boards for the Bucks... Charlotte shot 50.6 percent from the field, marking just the third time this season its has hit at least half its shots...Milwaukee shot 49.4 percent.
