Orlando Girl Has Bacterial Meningitis

ORLANDO, Fla. -- An 8-year-old Central Florida girl was hospitalized Thursday after she was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis, according to Local 6 News.
The girl's classmates at Hillcrest Elementary School in Orlando are receiving preventative care after the discovery.There are no other cases reported at the school.Bacterial meningitis symptoms include a high fever, headache, vomiting, a stiff neck and a purplish blood spot on the trunk of the body, according to a report.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
