He's done heavy metal tours and reality television, but now rocker Ozzy Osbourne is going to tackle Broadway.
According to MTV News Online, Osbourne is penning a Broadway musical based on the life of Russian monk Rasputin.The site says Osbourne will record the music he's written for the piece at his famed Beverly Hills home, where "The Osbournes" is mainly shot.A spokesperson for Osbourne said more details about the musical are forthcoming.Osbourne isn't the first rocker to attempt a musical for the Great White Way. Billy Joel co-wrote "Movin' Out" with choreographer Twyla Tharp, and John Mellencamp is teaming with novelist Stephen King on a musical production.
