I-4 crash investigated at SR-528 in Orange County

Crash happened at I-4 eastbound ramp to SR- 528 at mile marker 72

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A single-vehicle crash caused delays on Interstate 4 near State Road 528 in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said a Ford Explorer ran off the roadway and overturned onto its roof around 7:10 p.m. Sunday, but not specify if the crash happened on the interstate or on the ramp to the Beachline.

According to the FHP, driver was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Troopers said there was a roadblock on the I-4 eastbound ramp to the Beachline at mile marker 72.

The crash remains under investigation.
