VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A 66-year-old Pennsylvania man was killed Sunday night in a single-vehicle crash in Volusia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The fatal motorcycle wreck was reported around 9:30 p.m. on High Bridge Road near Walter Boardman Lane.

The FHP said the Huntingdon Valley man was riding a 2017 Harley-Davidson east on High Bridge Road when he ran off the roadway and overcorrected as he tried to get back on the road.

According to troopers, the bike overturned in the outside shoulder of the road, causing the man to be ejected from the bike.

The man, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to an FHP crash report.
