ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando City lost at home 1-0 to FC Cincinnati on Saturday evening, unable to turn around a disappointing start to their season.

Cincinnati forward Luciano Acosta scored the lone goal on the night just 17 seconds into the match.

“Well, another frustrating night because of the result. Obviously at this point we are having urgency to get points,” Orlando coach Oscar Pareja said after the game.

Orlando was down a man for much of the game after defender Rodrigo Schlegel was called for a red card early in the match on a denial of a goal scoring opportunity.

You can say its attitude, but if you look at the rest of the game today, you can say this team has that attitude as well, to go put up at fight,” Orlando City goalkeeper Pedro Gallese said. “I think maybe in those first minutes we’re faltering a little bit; we’re trying to push a certain way instead of being ourselves. But this team just has to fix that and try and be ourselves.”

The Lions will travel to Subaru Park to take on the Philadelphia Union next Saturday, May 11
