Louisiana-based brand in 2022 announced plans to open 12 restaurants in Orlando area

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A fourth Orlando-area Raising Cane’s restaurant will be built near UCF, according to records filed in Orange County on Friday.

It will be located at 12025 Collegiate Way, which is currently a Del Taco.

The development plans reveal that the roughly 3,200-square-foot Del Taco will be demolished as the space is transformed into a 2,900-square-foot Raising Cane’s.

The plans filed do not state when construction will begin or when Del Taco will close.

Raising Cane’s is a Louisiana-based restaurant chain that serves chicken fingers, fries and its signature “Cane’s Sauce.”

In 2022, Raising Cane’s revealed plans to open at least 12 stores in the Orlando area, with 25 planned in total to open throughout the state.

The brand opened its first restaurant in the Orlando area last November at 7105 Palm Parkway.

A second Orlando-area location opened in February and is near Walt Disney World at 8170 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway while a third location opened in December at 12040 Pioneers Way.
